Willkommen bei "Schach auf der Schanz" !

The Ingolstadt Chess Club e.V. and the MTV Ingolstadt Chess invite to special chess events every year! The Ingolstadt City Championship attracts more and more players and more and more strong players. This year 2023 we expect up to 70 players from different countries, including several title holders.
Our vision is not only to offer a high quality tournament, but also to present chess as much as possible to the general public, especially to the young audience. This year we can announce the cooperation with the Katharinen-high school and present a fairy tale that poetically describes the game of chess and its many possibilities.
